Red Suspenders Day Street Faire & Parade

Always the third Saturday in May, Gridley’s 63rd Annual Red Suspenders Day Celebration will be held Saturday, May 18 in Downtown Gridley. The event honors local firefighters and police.

Hosted by the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce, the day will begin with Gridley Little League’s Pancake Breakfast at Railroad Park, a variety of vendors, car show, firemen games, and more.

Enjoy children’s activities in Rotary Park and lots of great food trucks throughout the day.

Event Schedule:

Fri. 5/17:

• 6pm: Guns ‘n’ Hoses Softball Game
• Unjust Court: Nominate your favorite person to be “jailed” in Rotary Park Friday until they raise enough money to make bail.

Sat. 5/18

• Bed Races (on Virginia Street)
• 7am: Pancake Breakfast
• 8am-1pm: Classic car, trucks, and motorcycles show
• 8am-3pm: Vendors, Games, rides, bounce house, and kids games. Live music in Daddow Park; three parks total filled with vendors
• 11am: Parade
• 1pm: Firemen’s Games (west side of Rotary)
• 4pm-7pm: Gridley Museum Tri-Tip Dinner
