Kinetics Academy of Dance was established in 2001 for dancers ages two through adult. Dancers enter through our doors each week to experience our unique style of positive and encouraging dance classes. We are incredibly proud of the community Kinetics fosters, it’s like none other. Our curriculum was created by our founder and former director, Hayley Horn, a Registered Physical Therapist (as well as a lifelong dancer) making sure all classes are safe and developmentally appropriate.

At Kinetics, students take class from highly creative, skilled and innovative instructors. Our children’s dance classes emphasize imagination and creative expression. With our little dancers, we use props and costumes and story based dances. Our same philosophy carries over to our gymnastics classes, offering quality instruction in a caring, inclusive environment. Our adult classes are open to all, whether entering the dance world for the first time, or returning to dance. Our goal is to create a comfortable and enjoyable classroom environment and community for all ages and abilities.
Keeping it clean! We know that today’s kids want to do street dances and hip hop. It’s fun! At Kinetics, we find ways to keep it fun without letting it become trashy and inappropriate. Our Hip Hop classes have caused many parents to breathe a sigh of relief as they realize that their child can pursue these styles without inappropriate moves or bad lyrics!
To sum it up-We believe that dance is a physical expression of joy! Being able to share that joy with our students, each week, makes Kinetics a wonderful place to be. We truly enjoy our students. From the adult beginner to the littlest toddlers-we believe that dance is for everyone!
