Butte County Historical Society
Established in 1956 we are an all-volunteer nonprofit organization; our mission is to preserve Butte County’s history and make it available to all for your education and enjoyment. We have five facilities, the Museum/Event Center and Archives in Oroville, the historic Ehmann home in Oroville, the historic Oregon City School in Oregon City and the historic Bangor Church in Bangor.
