Ken Grossman founded Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in 1980 with a simple goal: brew the quality, flavorful beer he wanted to drink. With his flagship Pale Ale, Ken introduced a generation to the glory of hops and helped inspire a craft beer revolution. Over 40 years later, Sierra Nevada continues to brew quality beer here in Chico as well as in Mills River, North Carolina, pushing the limits in innovation and sustainability.
