The vision of the Museum of Northern California Art (monca) is to be a vehicle for communities in the region to experience and create art for the sake of enjoyment, expression, social cohesion, innovation and communication. The museum will improve public perception of art by creating vital educational programs that inspire enthusiasm and increase the quality of life for artists, art enthusiasts and the public at large.
ALBUQUERQUE LITTLE THEATRE
There is ample street parking near the Museum of Northern California Art (monca).
Parking is available on E. Washington and Esplanade, directly in front and on the side of the building. Other parking can be found on Oleander.
PLEASE DO NOT park where there are “Residential Only” parking signs. We love our neighbors and we want them to love us!
On busy days parking is available a block and half down at First Christian Church Chico, 295 E. Washington Ave.
Parking reservations are not required or accepted.

Parking is FREE on the streets around the museum and at the church.
There are designated accessible spaces on the city streets surrounding the museum.
If you are visiting in a group of more than 15 people, please Contact Us for information about parking for tour buses, other group vehicles, and groups of 15+.
Bicyclists can park for free on the entry level of the museum. Bike racks are located outside.
There is a bus stop or drop off in front of the museum located on Esplanade. Taxi drop off can also be on E. Washington Ave
Cars or vans carrying 15 passengers or fewer may drop off passengers in front of the museum on Esplanade or on the side of museum at E. Washington Ave.
There is a designated turnaround area located outside of the parking structure for visitors being dropped off or picked up by personal vehicle.
The Chico B-Line stops in front of the museum at the intersection of Esplanade and E. Washington Avenue
